hi,
good evening, keith - hope you are keeping well.
i have to confess that i spotted the emoji and reported it to
the mods in the hope that they could remove it before anyone saw
it and got too upset but it seems it can't totally be removed -
there is some talk of previous accidental instances here, so
don't feel too bad...

anyway, now you've dipped your feet into the water, so to speak,
there is no reason to feel uncomfortable voicing your opinions
on the wide range of topics covered by the forum - the more
contributors, the merrier i'd say [emoji4]

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I was always a lurker, mostly coming on after controversial
games really to see what the general consensus was from the
community on here.
Apart from that, I am also generally ignorant about some of the
less obvious laws so I also find the forum educational.
Up until a few weeks ago I was able to read without registering
so wouldn't have been able to do such a thing with my one
fingered phone use style.
Anyway I was mortified to receive the email as it's not my style
but can also understand the upset that emoji can cause. I looked
at the emojis and can't actually identify which one it was
though 😆
Social media is generally bad enough without uncivilised
behaviour leaking onto forums like this. I myself have
deactivated both Facebook and Instagram due to the poison on
there.
For the record I'm a Brighton supporter living in Brazil.

It's actually the one on the far right hand side that looks a
bit like a folder. Unfortunately we cannot pick and choose which
ones are available, they're either all available or none and
there was a lot of upset when we removed them totally!

I’m personally in favour of keeping them, but it would be nice
if when you clicked disagree you were prompted to make a post
explaining. That’s not a request to be clear! You guys have
enough on your hands to keep all of us lunatics in line

It's taken me 10 years but I have finally got the admin team
house trained. Well mostly anyway, Ben can still be a bit rogue
every now and then, borrows my colouring pencils without asking,
doesn't use them properly and leaves them laying around for all
and sundry to use but I'm working on it!
Oh you meant you lot - you're all mostly as good as gold!

Donald Trump, yes, Donald Trump, has criticised Tuchel’s
defensive tactics against Argentina. If he is saying the same as
most of England right now, and barely knows much about football…
It’s time to go Tuchel, you’ve cost us big time..

The Times today quotes a leading physiologist in sport that
England were burdened by severe fatigue giving Tuchel no option
but to deploy defenders. The statistics appear to back him up.
You can debate this all day but playing at altitude and having
10 men didn't help and Tuchel may have had things out of his
control. Condemning Tuchel is too easy and simplistic. FIFA
should ensure all teams play in similar conditions, ideally at
low altitude and reduce the travelling distance but commercial
motives come first.

Would Trump quit if Tuchel criticised his foreign policy? Of
course not, so how about ignoring everything that blithering
idiot witters on about. If the media stopped reporting
everything Trump said, the world would be a better place.

Indeed. I would put Trump as the political equivalent of Keith
Hackett, they both just express views to get attention, and both
regularly contradict themselves by changing their views on
identical incidents / situations.
