Agree with all that. When Anderson got booked, why did Elfath
take his yellow out quick and wave it around in the air? What’s
the point? It was like he was cautioning everyone there. Just
wait till it fizzles down or go straight to the player you’re
cautioning.

That would have been a good idea but he was waving it in the air
as if he was cautioning somebody

First goal really helped Elfath out. A game of football broke
out after that and hes been able to referee much more freely
instead of all the theatrics

Considering FIFA have tied one of the referees hands behind
their backs - I think he did as well as could have been expected
in an extremely challenging game that became easier after goals
were scored. He had no impact on the outcome so I think FIFA
will be happy.
Congratulations to Argentina and hard luck to England.

Nothing to do with the referee that result. Tuchel’s changes
were obviously disastrous, for me he should be packing his bags
tonight

The performance of the referee can't be questioned. I wasn't
hopefully about him being in control of the match, but he did
keep the match under control.
Rogers did seem to be an altercation after the final whistle. I
suspect some 🇦🇷 players may have said something
racist. They have history, but will be see to what comments come
out in the post match

Maybe so but he done exactly what the majority of English fans
complained about under his predecessor. You’re brought in to do
something different. Not do the same thing and expect a
different result.
