Intent isn't part of the law, while this might not have been
dogso I have seen countless red csrds for that much contact with
       the same amount of intent

He’s so incredibly unfussed. Certainly my favourite from the
       current era.

Just seeing him walking around casually makes him even better.
He must get a final, whether it is this time or in 4 years,
obviously if France don’t get through.
He will be incredibly unlucky to not get a final if France don’t
       make it.

Balogun’s red card also wasn’t intentional

It is very very different. Bellingham runs into him - his foot
is falling down to a natural point. He has to stand on it at
       some point.
       The comparison is frankly farcical.

That’s not a foul for me but that’s also never been considered
clear and obvious in the history of VAR…

Did like his assertiveness on the penalty with the immediate
       decision.
Unfortunately - was the completely wrong decision with a good
       intervention by VAR

There is no reason for VAR to get involved there. In no way has
that ever been a clear error anywhere else…
Has Collina asked the VAR’s to really be that picky? If not,
they’ve thrown Turpin under the bus here..

Really difficult to have a clear opinion on that.
I don’t like it when attackers clearly initiate contact like
Spence did for that penalty incident.
But, I have NEVER seen them overturned.

It might not be clear and obvious but Turpin was correct to
award it in real time but also VAR was correct to intervene as
Spence put his foot ( unintentionally ) in front of the norway
player thus causing a natural collision so no penalty was
correct decision albeit not via the clear and obvious route

It’s clearly contact solely initiated by the attacker. He steps
a single leg across the defender and initiates contact and throw
       both ankles into the ground.
If he takes the ball with him and a defender clips him from
behind - that’s very different. His sole intention is to
       initiate contact and fall over.
It’s entirely expected VAR intervention - as Unkel concluded
       immediately.
