Why on earth is Letexier in yellow with the keeper in full
yellow too.
I have to say the kit colours the officials are told to wear in
this tournament has been bizarre to say the least.

That's an extraordinary intervention. They've gone the full
length of the pitch. You'll see goals coming from far clearer
and more relevant fouls than that where the VAR doesn't get
involved.

Remember at the last world cup a foul closer to goal was deemed
to have happened to long before the goal to be disallowed, that
only had 2 passes between the foul and goal

And now we have a situation where pretty much the exact same
foul that saw the goal disallowed for Egypt has been ignored in
the box on Salah, and Argentina went up the other end and
scored...

At least 1 incorrect var decision in this game, id say to
disallow the goal but if that isn't then to not give the foul to
egypt

Red card for someone on the Egyptian bench following the goal.
If VAR is going to pull back play for the disallowed Egyptian
goal, they HAVE to call it back for the challenge on Salah, even
in the box.
Letexier is struggling here at the end with all the push and
shove.
I think the French VAR team will not be seen again after this
shambles.

Letexier ignored the racism sign by the Egypt coach and gave him
a yellow card instead. Argentina refereed differently again,
ridiculously inconsistent

Absolutely. Ironic that it was pretty much the same offence. I
get it would have been a massive call because a goal came up the
other end, but it's literally the same offence that you've
disallowed a goal for. ITV have focussed on the shirt pull (far
less obvious IMO) but the kick on Salah is the real issue.

Considering Letexier used the symbol in a game himself in Madrid
vs Benfica for the Vini Jr situation, that pretty much caused
this game-wide symbol to be implemented, it is quite
concerning..
