Orange will already have her pencilled in for The Final of the

I am staying with a friend so watching the match with him; I
wasn't going to watch anything until the knockout stage. An
average performance from an average referee. I have never really
understood the hype about Ms Penso. I think the German goal
should probably have been disallowed but if the referee
obviously shakes her head it would take a brave VAR to ask her
to re-visit.
I have little doubt that Infantino's craven toadying to Trump
will ensure that either Penso and/or her American colleague will
feature in the very last stages of the competition; quite
possibly the Final.

I did hear Elfath final shouts and wouldn’t be against seeing
him in and around the final to be fair, unless he doesn’t put up
some good performances until then.
That’s providing France are in the final, because if they aren’t
I really want to see Turpin on it.

Agreed. People are not infallible. However, there are things
that should not be missed. Positioning and sightline on this one
lends it to that conclusion.

To be fair, neither AR has missed a beat and it’s not their
fault if their ref can’t spot routine fouls.

That's a very soft free kick on the halfway line to overturn a
penalty. I think in a normal context it's a foul, but in the
way this WC has been officiated it simply is not. I've seen far
far worse fouls not awarded on numerous occasions.
This was always going to be the problem with the 'soft touch'
approach. We've seen very strong penalties denied, and some
very soft awarded. Maybe it works in the aggregate as it keeps
games going, but how on earth you're meant to achieve acceptable
consistency is entirely beyond me.

Poor game management and identification of fouls.
The management of dissent by Ecuador players was poor.
Follows similar performance from CZE V South Africa

opposition rolls the ball onto the pitch yet only 1 yellow card.
