Spanish Fifa list changes for 2027

Guillermo Cuadra and Alejandro Muniz will both leave the FIFA
referee list next year (both will be specialist VAR's starting
next season) They will replaced on the FIFA referee list by
Victor Garcia and Alejandro Quintero. Full changes for next
season.....

Another name people might recognise is AR Angel Nevado who is
retiring (usually works with Manzano and did the CL Semi this
year with Scharer)

It’s interesting that both Guillermo Cuadra and Alejandro Ruiz
will work as specialist VARs as they have been demoted from the
on field referee list as they were at the bottom of the
rankings! While every year someone is demoted from the La Liga
list for poor performance, I don’t recall this ever happening to
a FIFA referee let alone two!
