Have you never seen Dad's Army? [emoji23]
Easy game for Oliver. Very Premier League-esque game given that
the majority of the players play in the PL, so will know and get
on with Oliver quite well. Got involved and carded when it was
required but otherwise took a backseat and let the players get
on with it. Aside from one incorrect offside early on, great
game from Burt/Mainwairing too.

On a few occasions he didn't implement the new guidelines
intended to speed up throw ins.

I thought he had a very good match and will definitely be seen
in a later match. I wouldn't be surprised if he did't pick up
another group match and went straight into the knock out rounds.
One curious thing I spotted was that something looked off with
his yellow card, it looks like he as used a marker to black out
the FIFA logo in the top corner of the card and put a line
through the FIFA name that runs along the bottom. I have just
searched on google images and found a photo from a premiership
game that shows that this is actually the case.
Over the years I've seen many blacked out stripes on boots etc
but never on the cards![attachimg=1]
