Make this World Cup yours!

Hello there! Firstly, thank you to bmb and the admin team for
allowing me to post this! Also, thank you to CollinasEyes, who
gave me some inspiration to do this.
Over the past few days, I have made my own World Cup referee
appointment game, but from the start. Step into the shoes of
Pierluigi Collina and make this World Cup your own.
You will begin your journey at the selection screen. Select 52
Referees, 88 Assistant Referees and 30 Video Match Officials to
take to the World Cup. You will be able to select from a pool of
over 300 officials, some female, some male. Some have been to
the World Cup before, some have only just been promoted to the
Elite List within their confederation. You could keep it simple
and stick with the real selection, or go wild and create your
own! The choice is yours.
After you've selected a referee, you must choose whether to make
them a Main or Support referee! Once you've selected your
referees, you can move onto the 'Pairings' section. From here,
you choose a maximum of 2 assistants to pair with each referee.
To start with, I'd keep it 2 for Main and 1 for Support, but you
can add extras if you have room! After that, choose your Video
Match Officials, confirm your selection and then you are moving
onto the fun part!
Once you have confirmed your selection, you will move onto the
Appointments Screen! From here, you can begin appointing
officials to each match! You have to appoint all 8 officials -
but there are rules! You cannot appoint someone to the same
nation as they are from, or ones in their group. You cannot
appoint a referee more than once in a matchday to be a centre
referee, and you cannot appoint any official more than once in a
3-day window.
Assign referees to matches from Mexico vs South Africa on the
first day, to whoever the AI decides your final will be
between..
A merit table is available for you to view referee's
performances! Once you simulate a match, click back onto the
officials section and scroll to the bottom to see their match
rating!
All fixtures are real, as well as the knockout brackets. The AI
seems to think Spain vs Cape Verde is repeated in MD3, just
ignore that.
Enjoy appointing, let me know if anything needs fixing!
After you've done a save, share your final and notable
appointments here! (Here's where I hear someone the most insane
final appointments 😂)

Great to hear, and no problem! Just thought as I know all of the
drama and controversy in and around this tournament, so I
thought I'd make a game where you can control the most important
part of the tournament yourself!
The game should save locally and automatically, so you don't
have to keep pressing save everytime, at least that's what it's
doing for me!

Very well implemented and a super idea.
One small thing - is it possible to change the condition for
appointing VARs from 3 days to 2 days - as on several occasions
I have ran out - meaning I have to start again with those.

Or, perhaps very ambitiously, a Step 2 upwards game 👀
maybe with customizable pyramid sizes...

Don’t tempt me.. 🤔🤫
Might make a start on one once promotions and things are

Changed! Thank you for suggesting that - I do agree and on
reflection that was probably a bad judgement from me!
If the change isn't implemented into your ongoing save (which I
asked it to do...), you may have to reset the game! Anymore
suggestions, let me know!

Excellent! Thank you.
Final couple of other little tweaks - would be good - once a
referee has been assigned to a game - can their name appear next
to the Officials 8/8 button under the fixture - as this would
help to keep track of.
And can the position in the group table of each team appear next
to their name in the fixtures (next to the World rankings)?
