He had retired after 19 years as a category 1 referee. Think his
outstanding man management skills let him punch above his weight
in refereeing. Got to a really good level. I'll never forgive
him for last years league cup final but wish him all the best
for the future.

Delighted to see him go, well documented on here that I dislike
him. I'm sure the powers that be will keep him on in some
capacity, it is what they do.

Certainly a referee on his day was World Class. Had some of his
best games out of Scotland on International duty. An amazing
number of years as a Level . However, he was never a referee
that could be fully trusted. He was prone to a brain explosion
and a baffling decision as a lot of Scottish referees are..

Don't think him and his team ever recovered from the
Dortmund-Malaga game unfortunately - one of the worst team
performances I've ever seen.
