Spain vs Cape Verde - Adham Makhadmeh (JOR)

I’m not totally convinced by Adham so far. Seems to be missing a
few fouls and making a few delayed decisions.
       Hoping for an improvement.

Missed a clear yellow card for Ferran Torres as well.
Probably the poorest performance we’ve had thus far. Not
disastrous, but not of the desired standard at a World Cup.

On more important matters: it is to be hoped that after recent
controversy over the Australian gentleman's hand signal during
the presentation of the VAR team, in depth inquiries will be
made into the political significance of the VAR official
scratching his right cheek. Moreover, there must be further
meaning behind the choice of finger used for this action.
Or maybe, just maybe, he simply had an itch.

I’ve not noticed anything obviously wrong, I thought the
controversial no foul decision 10 mins in was correct. Had very
little to do but might get tougher if Cape Verde hold onto their
       clean sheet any longer.

What a defensive performance by Cape Verde! Absolutely fantastic
       and a well deserved point.
Once again, I thought the referee had a solid game. Nothing much
of note to do but oversaw it well. One easy yellow card for
Pedri for SPA but that was about it.

Should have booked Torres but maybe needed help as the contact
was on the wrong side to him? Never seen him before but seemed
to look the part with not too much to do.
Currently winning the prize for the most flamboyant final
       whistle!
