Was probably one of the easiest matches he will officiate! I
thought he had a good game even though he didn't have much to
do. He let the game flow throughout and only got involved when
necessary. Only the one yellow card near the end which was
entirely correct, and a couple of firm conversations, his strong
presence and control certainly helped! Really liked his style.
He did a Round of 16 game last WC and I'd expect him to be in
contention for the KO stage this year as well.

Safe to say football twitter hasn’t disappointed after seeing Fu
Ming’s name on the graphic.
All in good spirits of course, but blimey people are creative
🤣
Someone’s said - “The fact that the VAR team includes Fu Ming
from China is keeping me awake. Just in case the pictures go
back to him and he’s angry.”
People are also seeing the funny side of these VAR Room shots at
the start of the match. Getting a compilation of all 104 of
these shots at the end of the tournament is a must!

He’s one of the better South American referees. If he has
another good game I expect him to get a QF and could push for
semi
