Bog standard challenge for the penalty. Just a normal foul. No
need for a yellow card (thus no reason to dismiss).

Great no penalty decision on Madueke. Any contact was outside
the area and then he just threw himself to the floor, first
replay was best angle

No way is that a penalty. Fantastic decision.
Rice having a dicky fit, and every time I look at Arteta he
isn’t in his box.

Probably being kind to Declan Rice there. The amount of actions
that I saw that were clear actions of dissent - I wouldn’t have
had a problem if he showed 2YC. I know he’s the captain but
there’s a limit and then there’s going over the top. I think he
went way over the top.

First 3 times I watched it, I couldn’t fathom how the referee
hadn’t given a penalty. But then noticed that it’s Madueke who
hooks arms and drags the defender over. Amazing call from the
officials.
