hi,
credit to both teams - they made a good game out of what was
largely expected to be a training exercise ahead of their
respective european finals [emoji106]
little for FH to do, but what he did, he did well and got pretty
much everything spot on [emoji4] special mention must also be
made to AR1 Marc Parry, on his final premier league game, who
spotted a deflection off an offside player to rule out a palace
equalizer [emoji122]

I doubt Perry spotted the merest of touches from his angle, and
instead (still correctly IMO) flagged for offside with the
player very close to Kepa. Nice way to go out though, and happy
retirement!
No surprise that Hallam had little to do given Arsenal have been
the best behaved team in the league this season (first team to
get no RC or give away any pens, albeit one or two of each might
have been given, as with all teams), and given neither Palace or
Arsenal would probably have played that match if they didn't
have to! Had a very pre-season friendly feel about it. But it's
always good in a game like this for a referee not to needlessly
get involved, which Hallam didn't so all credit to him. Nice
easy end to the season for him and the team. [emoji106]
