Arsenal have not received a red card or conceded a penalty all
       season in the PL.
That is as clear and obvious a red card as you could ever wish
       to see.

We’ve also had better tackles upgraded, it’s a high forceful
challenge with no attempt to play the ball

I was thinking that James Bell had a chance of VAR in either the
league 1 or 2 Play off final. He may have kissed that goodbye. I
cant see how he hasn't recommended a review there. Clear SFP for
       me

I have never seen a worse set of officials than SG1 currently at
identifying SFP. Ive seen referees well into their later years
in the park on a Sunday morning who are more able to identify
it. They're all shockingly dire at it.

I’m not watching the game and personally didn’t think he was in
with a chance at a POF just yet, but by the sounds of it he may
not be there anymore if he was.

       Clear SFP for me

yep himself Howard and donoghue would have been ones in
contention for me for the playoffs final but that decision has
       got easier

I’m trying to understand why Bell may have made the mistake. No
more mic’d up shows til next season now, at least we have the
ref cam for it to hear what Tierney thought

I think the biggest killer for non-SG1 VAR’s is the fact they
haven’t ever refereed a PL game and got a feel of the game on
the ground and making actual decisions in a top flight game.
That excludes Donohue and Howard because Howard’s mistakes can
be counted using one hand, and I highly doubt the number is as
       big as 5 anyway.

Let me get this right - accidental hair pulls with next to no
violent intent see red cards but when a player goes in with his
studs on the calf of his opponent to play the man rather than
ball isn't a problem or SFP.
Paul Tierney has a great angle to spot it, but not to recommend
a review is very poor from James Bell.

I get what you're saying but that doesn't apply here. You can
look at that as a still image, slow motion or real speed while
sitting at Shockley Park and its a red card, no matter what way
you look at it. Its a leg breaker.
They're too focused on small tugs on long hair rather than
traditional forceful SFP. The game is well and truly gone.
