I am in split minds about the handball, but my anger is towards
Gary Neville on Sky Sports.
He is absolutely ridiculous, ripping into Michael for giving the
goal. Is there not a line for commentators? My god he is
insufferable.

Firstly I don't support either United or Forest, but what i have
just seen is truly the worst VAR decision this season.
Luckily for Forest it won't hurt them re Premiership survival
but if it had can you imagine??
I await Howard Webbs apology tomorrow morning.

Neville aside it’s a shocker to be honest. (I am a United fan)
deliberate or not, it’s a handling offence that leads directly
to a goal and by the very benchmarks set down in the Premier
League (take Europe out of the equation), a goal cannot be
allowed. He has clearly gained an advantage by the accidental
control.
We have all asked over and over again for referees to make up
their own mind at the monitor but we need consistency!!!! If
look at other decisions relating to handling offences that lead
to goals this one is completely out of sync.
Yes, the commentary team can do better in the way they
articulate this but they make a valid point. It’s a total
surprise the goal stands.

Really tough one this, I think it should have been ruled out but
its a very debatable decision either way.
What hope does anyone have when 2 premier league officials cant
agree with the benefit of replays

The PL Match Centre have ruled the reason the goal was allowed
because the ball bounced off his hip and into his armpit area,
which is the logic I can sort of understand.

Pgmol are saying now you can catch the ball between the hip and
arm to control the ball to score a goal it's ludicrous

It can’t be disallowed using your arguement. For it to be
disallowed as the handball leads to a goal, it has to literally
be immediately; so the goal scorer handles it. But as it then
ricochets to someone else, the immediate element is no more.
Gaining an advantage also isn’t a thing in this context
