Nice interview with Darren on his refereeing journey and other
things (and the important questions like pre match meal
😂)
Everyone’s thoughts on his appointment to the game have been
well documented on here but I wish him all the very best on
Saturday.

I don’t know if it was just me that thought SG1 would’ve had a
groupchat but clearly not! You would’ve thought they’re such a
close knit team and work with each other all season round!
Presuming they create chats per game or something similar. I’d
hate to have to message 6 people individually about plans.

No chance. Refereeing is a very ‘bitchy’ hobby/profession with
lots of politics.
You’d be surprised how many officials don’t get on or dislike
each other.

Is he the last official who could achieve all 3 medals at FAC?
Line, 4th then Ref?

England only needs to add Var to get the lot.
Brooks could be the last, he did the AR but hasnt had 4th
official, var or the middle yet.
