I am not sure about him needing another job; as of now he still
has one at Southampton. I cannot believe that will last but -
given the written reasons released last evening - I am not sure
what Southampton are waiting for. Perhaps they support his
       actions??
Once he does leave Southampton, he will get another position,
but probably not in the UK. Football's moral compass is pretty
haywire and someone will hire him.

Exactly that, people in countries other than the UK are looking
at this and asking what the issue is. Like when Bielsa got
caught, he didn't see the problem as it happens everywhere else,
guess we just have a higher moral compass.
It Tonda Eckert does leave Southampton I'm pretty sure he will
walk into another job within a year.

       hi,
looks as if tonda eckert might not need to find another job -
the southampton owner, dragan solak, is publicly backing him to
       the hilt...

And if they don’t then all reasonable credibility it has (which
isn’t much to be fair) would be thrown out the window.
FIFA should step in and ban him for a long time. No fannying
about, just strong, decisive and swift action is the order of
       the day.

To ban him he needs to have broken a rule that the FA are
responsible for enforcing. The club broke an EFL rule and were
sanctioned for that, but I'm struggling to see what the FA could
       actually charge him with.

The FA have charged Southampton Football Club and Tonda Eckert
with breaching Rule E3.1 for conduct that allegedly brings the
game into disrepute stemming from Spygate.
Punishment is yet to be decided.

       hi,
is the punishment, once decided, likely to be announced prior to
the season starting? or is it one of these man city 115 things?

Not certain as of yet. The manager Tonda Eckert has until the
28th July to respond to the charges although it is reported he
       is unlikely to challenge them.
This is Southampton’s most recent club statement.
“ Southampton Football Club and First Team Head Coach Tonda
Eckert acknowledge today’s charges from The FA relating to a
       breach of Rule E3.1.
Tonda and the club will continue to cooperate fully and openly
       with The FA.
Our focus remains on preparations for the 2026/27 Championship
season. The club remains fully supportive of Tonda and his staff
as we work towards our ambition of returning to the Premier
       League.
We are unable to comment further while the process remains
ongoing, but we will provide an update to supporters as soon as
we are in a position to do so.”

       hi,
       thanks [emoji106]
it's being reported that the head coach still has the full
backing of the owner, who believes the club have been punished
       enough already [emoji53]
