European Rugby Finals

Now that we know it’s Ireland v France in both Finals any
thoughts as to who will get the nod, which of course is limited
to Englishmen, a Georgian and a Scottish lady?
For what it’s worth my gut feeling is that Karl Dickson, he of
the random decision making, will get the Champions Final, not on
merit but because the powers that be seem to see something in
him which I don’t. If it were on merit Luke Pearce or Christophe
Ridley would surely be the choice
I hope Amushakeli will get the other Final but I suspect Mr
“little feel for the game” Carley may well get it
Any thoughts anyone?

If the final was given based on SF performance then Luke Pearce
would get it
However, as neither Matt C nor Hollie D were involved in SFs it
might be that they were being held in reserve and we will see a
repeat of last year's finals.
Nika should be involved somewhere
Along with an Italian, a Scot and some1 from Wales
Majority will be English I suspect

With Pearce and Nika doing champions cup semis I think it’ll
probably be Dickson too.
Ridley for challenge cup.(maybe small chance for gnecchi. Thibk
he’s had good season where I’ve watched him)

No sense of smugness in getting it right, just a sad feeling of
inevitability
