I didn’t really know what thread to put this in, so I’ll whack
it here since the officials are involved in the PL frequently.
I’ve come across this picture of Adam Herczeg in a pre-season
friendly, with a familiar Assistant Referee, who is holding a
plain green flag!
This is up there with an unexpected referee ‘lineup’ should we
say. Reminds me of when I saw a picture of James Bell as an
assistant referee to Gavin Ward. I understand that a lot of
referees started as assistants, but as the days go on it looks
more and more unusual considering where they all are now!

After his fall from grace maybe holding a flag might have been a

They will. They won’t be taken off duty for something like that.
It wasn’t a mistake whatsoever, the evidence was inconclusive.
No wrongdoings from Stuart or Con.

There wont be enough officials if they are stood down, not that
they should be.

There were found to be more VAR errors in the Premier League in
the recent review.
In gameweek 35 there were three VAR errors and one on-field
error that didn't meet the VAR threshold. - BBC
Everton should have had a penalty for the holding offence by
Bernardo Silva.
Bournemouth’s penalty against Crystal Palace was a VAR error and
should have been overturned.
West Ham should have had 2 penalties vs Brentford - 1 was a VAR
error and 1 was an on-field error.
