Race for Europe.

This could be a fantastic end to the season with still lots up
for grabs, from the title race, european spots and of course the
battle at the bottom.
Newcastle are probably the only team on the beach, with nothing
really left to play for… Palace are probably looking more to
Europe now rather than domestic affairs.
Fulham v Bournemouth is massive now in a couple of weeks time…
We’ve still got Arsenal away, AFCB home, Wolves away and lastly
home to Newcastle.
Everton, AFCB and Brentford still have Man City to play, and
Brighton probably have the easier run in.
Chelsea v Liverpool is a big game too.

Whoever thought the words "Fulham v Bournemouth is massive now
in a couple of weeks time…" would be said in relation to
European places. That's just mental, we were relegation fodder
not that long ago! Days after the 17th anniversary of the -17
points as well. Would love to see us do it obviously and let
Andoni leave on a real high, forever in the official history
books. Sorry big 6 clubs but the class of 22 are here to stay
and to compete and not just to make up the numbers.

I am indeed enjoying the race for European football this season
which involves teams who have never been there before!
I’d really like to see any of Bournemouth, Brentford or Fulham
get there so we get some new teams in Europe. I wouldn’t mind to
see Brighton in there either but they were Europa League a few
seasons ago.
Whatever happens, it’s likely to be an exciting end to the
season with lots of important matches across the next month.

Don't forget Fulham's glorious European run, beating Juve on the
way to being runners up in 2010, would be great to see them back
of course.

I very nearly managed to get two tickets for the Hamburg final
but my internet died just as I was booking and lost the seats.
Had to settle for television, but that season was memorable to
say the least.
Dempsey’s goal against Juve after a very young Kuipers reduced
Juve to ten men, ultimately 9 men, was the best goal I’ve ever
seen at the Cottage.

We’ve been through Parkerball at Fulham and it was a dull as
dishwater.
If West Ham go down, I think Parker could end up there and we
will have Nuno if Silva goes to Benfica as being reported…
