I’m surprised you never saw Kettle at Crewe. He was a frequent
visitor to Gresty Road when he was in his prime, if you can call
it that.

There’s one major National League issue far from sewn up! At
least Drysdale won’t be anywhere near what could be the deciding
game on Saturday week.

Most certainly, I didn’t make that very clear but it goes
without saying! I’d expect one of those candidates on the verge
of SG2 like Finnie, Reeves or E Bell perhaps at Spotland next
week.

or Kavanagh, personally :)

Already touched on but very intrigued to see who is chosen for
the Rochdale v York fixture next weekend (presuming Rochdale
beat Braintree). I’m going to say Duckworth, but could easily be
an SG2!

This game is exactly why the NL promotion shenanigans need to be
changed! A team on 100+ points may not be promoted! That’s
bonkers!
Onto the refereeing, I agree, I could see a James Bell or a Sam
Allison possibly, or maybe an National List on the verge of SG2,
Finnie, Duckworth, Reeves, Speedie, Miles.
Corlett got the reverse fixture so very unlikely to be him.

Martin Woods replaced Matt Corlett on the reverse fixture.
Jacob Miles refereed us on Saturday and was poor, in my opinion.
Inconsistent foul detection, inconsistency in cautions and too
much unnecessary whistling!

Jack, Vera or Terry?
We can draw or lose to Braintree, providing York do the same
versus Yeovil, which they won't!
