       Chelsea v City - C Kavanagh

       Poor start from Kavanagh, missed mandatory to Rodri in the 9th
       for blatant shirt pull, then does a Chelsea player for kicking
       the ball away (correct) but awfully inconsistent

       That inconsistency on the yellow cards is inexcusable from Kav.
       Also letting Donnarumma shout in his face and gesture like that
       is also baffling. Where's the yellow card?
       Despite a very poor 1st half hour from Kav, Hussin on AR2 has
       been exemplary with some very tight and right offside calls.

       I could be in the minority but I don't think its a mandatory
       caution for Rodri. I didn't think the shirt pull was
       particularly impactful. It didnt break up a promising attack in
       my opinion. I think foul only is ok. I accept I might be the
       only person that thinks that though

       No, I agree with you.  The offence isn't a shirt pull, it is
       stopping a promising attack and in this case the attacker was
       turning straight into Bernardo Silva.  There's a misconception,
       not helped by pundits, that any shirt pull is a caution if a
       free kick is given, that isn't correct and it either needs to be
       SPA or be deemed reckless.

       I agree that pundits perpuate the misconception, but it is hard
       to argue that a shirt-pull is anything other than a cynical and
       intentional act.  If one accepts that argument (feel free not
       to!) then should not a yellow card really follow?
