Given he was thrust into the thick of things with next to no
warning after Marciniak injured himself in the warm up, he
hasn’t done too badly at all.
A bit of a shaky start, but it was a good spot to penalise
MacAliister for barging over the keeper before the bar was hit.

No idea how long Marciniak was injured, what his injury was or
how long since he’s been back because I read somewhere he’s been
injured recently.
Was it really smart to appoint him to such a game straight after
a return from injury?
Edit: After a quick look, he had a period with no injuries from
December - March, with his only 2 games being a Polish League
Game and a UEL game so far.

Correct penalty given towards the end of half. Dramatic fall but
there was contact.

Penalty was the correct decision which Mo messed up..
On the whole, I think Raczkowski will be happy with the first
half offerings. Slot was very close to crossing the line on the
touchline and I’m surprised Marciniak didn’t call him over to
card Slot.
Not a perfect half, but in the circumstances, perfectly
acceptable.

As a Liverpool fan, I genuinely don’t think the penalty was a
penalty. Yes there was contact, but contact doesn’t necessarily
equal a foul.
If that was given against us, I wouldn’t be best pleased.
That said, Galatasaray have been woeful

Why on earth do people continually say "there was contact"? The
Laws cover what should be penalised and making contact with an
opponent is, happily, not included.
