Sam Allison could have fun after the FA Cup matches between
these two the other season

Royalty at Portman Road - the last time we had Salisbury in the
championship we scored in the 97th minute against Southampton on
Easter weekend. Wouldn’t mind something similar on Saturday.
I’ll be at Portman Road for the first time since December so
hoping to see a win and a good officiating display. On another
note, good to see Salisbury back from injury.
Busby back in the middle this week and a TV game for Macho Man.

I was half-expecting a Smith or Donohue for Millwall and an SG1
referee for our game against Middlesbrough, but nevertheless I
am happy with Salisbury.
Good appointments all round!
I presume Ipswich will be due another SG1 visit in a couple of
weeks for that game against Middlesbrough. I'd put my money on
one of Pawson, Robinson, Bankes or Harrington.

I would happily take Harrington. I wonder if Josh Smith might be
in line for the East Anglian derby at Carrow Road…

I can't grumble with Farai Hallam on Stoke's trip to Preston.
Has been a steady pair of hands in the past, although this will
be his third game involving the Potters in 2026!
I'll be interested to see how Gavin Ward fares with that
Midlands derby at Pride Park after the reverse finished with
10-a-side.
Did anyone ever work out the reason behind Martin Coy's
Championship game last season? Seems strange in reflection with
several likelier NL candidates ahead of him for promotion. Was
it a one-off game or just because of a lack of officials at the
time?

I’d also be very happy to see Hallam appointed to Fulham soon..
he is head and shoulders above the majority of SG2 in my
opinion.

Interesting appointment for Salisbury considering his last game
was January 24th.

I am surprised we have a NL 40. If he gets injured, Humphries
will have an immense amount of pressure on his shoulders.

Oh no Gavin Ward again! 🙃 Might aswell get his own car
parking space
And we only had Natalie Aspinall against Sheffield Wednesday
last week!
