By general consensus on here Woolmer has been pretty 💩
all season so how on earth does he get a play off match? Beggars
belief. There’s not been much praise for Ollie Langford either,
Come to think of it.
Who makes these appointments and on what basis?

Good game for donohue in his first season.
A swansong game for Ilderton? He has had his problems with
injuries in the last couple of years!

On that basis my money will be on Andy Davies for the League One
final.
Matt Donohue has obviously impressed in his first season.

I can't believe Woolmer has been appointed to any of these
games. He's been dreadful every time I've seen him.
At least it looks like Madley or Jones are being held back for
the Final.

Not only Woolmer but James Mainwaring gave an absolutely
diabolical display of lining on Sunday, failing to spot Leeds
players offside time after time. When he eventually noticed one
in about the 80th minute, the cheer rivalled those for the
goals.

From a geographical perspective, it would have made sense having
the referees swapped round for those two legs.

Those League one appointments are absolutely appalling, with the
exception of Peter Bankes. Bankes incidentally refereed the
league fixture at Fratton Park.
Ward and Woolmer returning to grounds they failed to distinguish
themselves at only a month ago.
