Mansfield Town vs Arsenal - Thomas Bramall (VAR: Paul Tierney)
By: gooner Date: March 7, 2026, 7:16 am

hi,
bit of a sticky pitch in places which is making things
interesting - lots of passes falling short [emoji15] ref has got
most things spot on and seems to be taking time to speak to
players when penalised rather than reaching straight for his
cards [emoji4] nothing really yet for VAR to get involved in -
arsenal handball shout quickly checked and correctly rejected as
it hit the home defender's shoulder [emoji16]
so far so good [emoji106]
regards,
gnr

hi,
cards were a bit more freely distributed in the second half -
nothing really controversial though [emoji16] comfortable
performance by TB
must say, mansfield acquitted themselves well and proved to be a
handful at times [emoji4]

gnr

Fully agree, thought team ref was good and cards were used when
needed.
And a big well done to Mansfield too - representing League 1
very well.

It’s great seeing Thomas Bramhall doing brilliantly and
continuing what has been a excellent season for him so far like
me there are plenty who like and appreciate Bramhalls style of
refereeing and today was no different
I would say Bramhall and Bankes have been the best this season
apart from Oliver and Taylor
