Not a clue how the assistant hasn’t spotted that offside, he was
in another post code.
Should be a Sunderland penalty for hand ball here

Good VAR intervention to give that penalty even if it upset the
home crowd. Not the best debut for Karaivanov missing the
offside....

It probably won’t get as much coverage as shearer but beckford
suggesting that var decided the game due to things behind the
scenes is shocking, stuff like that should not be said on
national tv.
I say this as someone who is frequently poor with words

What did he mean by ‘behind the scenes’? If he meant the two VAR
interventions, they were spot on!

He said it while talking about the var decisions so it
definitely came across that’s what he was talking about

I think Beckford wasn't really thinking with his head and
unfortunately in my opinion came across as very bitter.

Another poor night for the officials. Fair to say Sunderland
benefitted from the decisions tonight. Clear penalty for Leeds
in first half not given for holding. If given would have matched
similar penalties that have been awarded all season. Attwell
looking straight at the incident but then VAR to not give it is
baffling

Just me that thought 12 was very excessive.
I wasn’t keeping track but felt like 8/9 would have been about
right
