Couldn't find anyone who suggested this, but maybe more fine
grained filtering on the match assignment page? filter by
gameweek, filter by team, maybe even filter be referee or var?
Loving it far, can't wait to see more!
EDIT: Also maybe the assign screen stops you from appointing a
referee twice in the same matchweek as main referee, just for
realism purposes
EDIT 2: Also maybe their current merrit table position when you
go to select the referee/var. might not be necessary once the
saving thing has been figured out because it'll be easier to
switch, but just a suggestion

Unfortunately someone continues to delete my game save. Im
afraid you will have to remove the group save pool because its
clear some people can't be trusted to do the decent thing and
not touch what isnt their business.....

Apologies this should now be fixed you should only be able to
view, edit & delete your own saved games

Been having so much fun. Did 3 trial games in one game week and
saw all three of them sit themselves at the top of my merit
table. What I find funny is that I'm seeing the elite (minus
Chris Kavanagh) perform poorly and most of the Nationals perform
really well! Looking forward to the 27th when you get more
credits ::)

Just wanted to make you aware that there appears to be some
fixtures that have been given the wrong match round. I've
attached pictures of the two that I've noticed

A big update, spent most of the day bug fixing & adding
enhancements, change list below
Update 27/03/26
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where you can view, edit or delete other users
saved games
- Fixed issue where league table not updating
- Fixed issue when moving from matches page to another page
causes data to be reset (referee & VAR selections)
- Fixed missing team in GW 1 (now Wolves v Man City instead of
Wolves v Man Utd)
- Fixed various incorrect fixture dates
- Removed random additional games in MW 12
- Updated fixture type for Wolves v Aston Villa as Derby
- Added Darren Bond as injured/unavailable at start of game as
per real life
Enhancements
- On start up users will now be asked to create a new game or
load an existing game after logging in.
- Users can now save a game with the same name and it will
overwrite the existing saved game.
- Changed match schedule layout so fixtures are sorted by round
then by fixture date then alphabetically by home team
- Improved logic so a referee can't be appointed to more than
one fixture in a day
- Improved logic so a referee can't be appointed to two games in
consecutive days but can be referee one day and VAR the next
- Split the temp_conflicts into two, one for referee and one for
VAR, this should prevent occurrences where a referee is then
unable to be a VAR for the same team for 3 matches
- Added team current league position to matches page
- Added new filters to match schedule page, you can no search by
team, referee, VAR or game week.
- Removed seasons page as added no value to game.
- Moved save/load button to dashboard page and created new start
new game button
- Added match difficulty to dynamically change (e.g a relegation
6 pointer towards end of season might be set as low but may be
medium or high
- Added a performance page where you can look at an individual
referee appointments & performance across the season in a bar
chart/table.
- At end of the season everything should reset, fixtures should
randomise and you should start in 26/27

Wow! I love the time you’ve spent on this all! I’ll definitely
give it a go later on and test the new updates!
One thing I noticed was when a referee got injured for x amount
of games, they were only injured for that amount of games that
you simulated instead of x amount of gameweeks.
For example, the first match you simulate for a gameweek, a
referee could get injured for 3 games, and after simulating
through 3 games they could then be appointed again instead of
being injured for 3 gameweeks.
A little bug but hopefully it doesn’t take too much hassle for
you to fix!
