Only seen the highlights, so i may have missed something. But
not sure how we initially gives penalty but no red card. I guess
he thinks trip rather than pull, but I’m not sure how we came to
that judgement

Maybe thinks the keeper is getting to the ball first?

I could be in a minority but that’s not a DOGSO. The keeper is
getting to the ball and the United player doesn’t have control
of the ball.
A poor OFR for me.

Cunha is through and has a clear run on goal

Newton reckoned that every force has an equal and opposite
reaction, obviously football wasn’t played in his day.

He usually does when he is nearest to the ball.
Poor intervention by var.

At which point is the gk closer to the ball than the attacker?

I’d be backing Cunha to get their first personally having just
seen the highlights. I think there’s enough to suggest that’s
DOGSO.
What was the onfield decision though? I’m assuming it was
penalty and yellow card.
Good work from Kavanagh and his AR to correctly identify the
offence continued into the penalty area.

At what point was the goalkeeper being held back to stop him
getting to the ball?
