I have a degree of Sympathy with the Palmer caution and not
playing advantage as the ball is just about to be released by
Raya as he blew.
With the Neto one didn't Andrew Kitchen have a similar incident
in the Man Utd v West Ham game where he played advantage rather
than issue the 2nd caution to Wan- Bissaka? If I remember then
the general consensus was that play should of been stopped and
Wan-Bissaka sent off.
On a side note Neto's behaviour after being sent off was
disgraceful, took ages to leave the field and was still having a
moan at Stuart Attwell before making his way down the tunnel.

I believe Neto’s complaint was that he was not aware he was on a
yellow card. The footage couldn’t be found where the yellow card
was brandished to him either, though it was for dissent.

Agreed.
And tbh this is a common complaint for me at the top level. Not
saying they need to revert to the old school taking the name
etc, but a lot of the caution technique is very sloppy now,
meaning it’s not infeasible that players have no idea they’ve
been cautioned.
Should at least ensure the player sees the yellow card they’ve
been shown!

Sky did not seem to show Neto being shown the first yellow card,
and based on what we were shown there did not seem to be
anything particular worthy of a caution.
The general lack of discipline from players (their refusal to go
to referees when instructed etc) is appalling.
Edit - on the point about the similar penalties not given for
the ball striking the arm, the Rice incident is different in key
ways IMO. Firstly he is looking directly at the ball as it comes
in. He has a clear view of the path of the ball. That is not the
case with Maatsen for example, who was preoccupied with the
attacker and wasn't looking at the ball (though he did raise his
arm and it should have been a penalty). Secondly, he raises his
arm which to me is the key point. He lifts the arm which is why
the offence is committed. We can also then debate whether the
initial two handed holding is a separate foul.
Something needs to be done about corners. They are as messy as
rugby lineouts used to be. I think the solution is to ban any
contact until the ball is in the air.

Here's a clip of the first booking for Neto. I don't see how
that's a yellow based on 99.9% of how we see players interacting
with officials. Though, of course, there was no foul on Sanchez
whatsoever and nothing wrong with the goal (though the free kick
prior came from a clear dive by Timber).

Was he the captain? No, James was, Darren England had made it
clear he would only be talking to the captain and was backing
away. Neto kept walking towards him, that is a huge risk of a
yellow.
And if he says he didn't know he was on a yellow, he needs to
pop himself down to Specsavers as this wasn't a card flashed at
his back, there is no possible way he couldn't know he had been
cautioned. But like most players these days rather than take
responsibility for his stupidity he tries to blame someone else.
