How’s Kettle junior been doing? Could he be within ear shot of
SG2 in a few years?

Kettle Jr has refereed my team twice at home and received
favourable comments on both occasions, from a fanbase not noted
for positive views of officials.
A significant upgrade on his father!

Kettle junior too inconsistent when I’ve seen in action.

So, getting towards the end of the season, promotions will start
to be finalised in the next few months.
Do we think Hallam has overtaken anyone in the race after his QF
appointment or do we think he was already guaranteed? Dependant
on how many spaces are available in SG1, I think Hallam, Kitchen
and Kirk as well as a few others are all deserving and I think
it will be one hell of a decision between Kitchen and Kirk for
me as Hallam looks all but confirmed.
I think Alex James and Alistair Nelson will take the lead in the
race for promotion as well, obviously providing their is space
or both. If it was just one promotion for an assistant I think
James would take it.

Personally I think Kitchen will be promoted, and Kirk and Hallam
will remain on the supplementary list but receive more regular
PL appointments

I now see where I have possibly messed up, although it may just
be me but I have no clueon how supplementary promotions work. I
am sure someone more clued up on the new group may be able to
inform me, but yes I do agree (and hope) that Kitchen will be
promoted.
Still will always remember Josh Smith and his potential if it
wasn’t for injuries. Hopefully he will get his chance in the
coming years, but I do find it confusing how he hasn’t even got
a trial game so far this season.

I don’t think you’ve messed up anywhere! I just find it unlikely
the already small supplementary list would lose two members
after just one season. I wonder if Kirk even wants to go full
time with the business he owns?

I think Hallam has overtaken Kitchen in the pecking order,
simply due to him getting an FA cup 1/4 final, plus a trip to
Anfield in Round 4.

It really wouldn’t take much!
