Solid stuff this afternoon, only got involved where necessary
and was quite lenient at times.
Two players booked in the box for scuffling and the other card
for Castagne deserved.
Not a challenging game, but went without hiccup or controversy.

I’ve been impressed with Josh Smith every time I’ve seen him
(particularly in Fulham games) and today was no exception.
Excellent performance, lets a lot of physicality go, but always
in control. Definitely deserves another shot at a Prem game. A
very solid referee.

I think that this weekend has taught us that we have some
fantastic officials on the edge of SG1 who are more than
capableof making the step up. We saw exceptional performances
from Josh/Lewis Smith, Farai Hallam and Thomas Kirk. I wish
PGMOL would add at least 3 or 4 to SG1, theres talent there that
has the potential to become fine international referees in years
ahead.
Also we saw Tim Robinson and Paul Tierney offer up excellent
performances. This shows that they are well able for some of.the
meatier games in the Premier League in the latter end of this
season. Give them a chance PGMOL! They've earned it!
