Farai Hallam - Hull v Chelsea (FA Cup)

Only one word to sum up Farai Hallam’s display so far -
excellent.
First time I’ve seen him live and he looks very much at home in
this company. He is a tall chap so has presence and a quiet
authority and allows the game to flow.
Has handled matters expertly with quiet efficiency. One yellow
card at the end of the half which was nailed on and intervened
when two opposing players were giving each other the benefit of
their wisdom (or lack of it).
I can see why he is so highly rated and certainly on his recent
performances, Farai Hallam will get more opportunities at the
top table and will I’m sure be promoted full time to Select
Group 1. His former playing experience certainly helps with his
control and the way he deals with players.
Even the Match of the Day commentary team, not known for their
praise, have been very complimentary about him and rightly so.
Hope Hallam has a good second half and completes what has been
an impressive display so far.

To sum up - Hallam was top draw, nothing more to add what I’ve
already said. Very good to watch.

I thought that he was also very good in the Palace v Burnley
match on Wednesday night and was surprised to see him in the
middle again tonight, just two days later.
Looks very comfortable and unflustered by anything. Good to see.

Will be interesting to see if him and the others in the
"Supplementary group" actually get official promotions in the
future since that group is described as officials serving in
both the EFL and PL.

At only 32 he is in very good shape for a fifa badge in a couple
of years time imo.

For someone who has only come across my radar recently - he’s
the next top table performer in England - summed up by his first
PL game when he didn’t get railroaded into a decision by the
VAR.
Very impressed by him so far
