I wasn't at Prenton Park to see Rovers v Accrington last
night, which given another poor performance from TRFC was a
relief.
2 Red Cards from Mr Duckworth. I don't think there can be much
argument with the second, right at the end of the game. However
the first RC incident starts around 00.55 in the footage and
seems to be dividing opinion as to whether red or yellow or no
foul was the appropriate sanction. I'd be interested in any
thoughts...

I’d be leaning towards YC for reckless tackle in my opinion. I
think in real time and from that camera angle there seems very
little in it but I’ve watched it in slow motion a bit and to me,
it looks like the defenders left foot comes off the ground and
makes contact with the attacker’s shin. I don’t believe the
contact was made with studs, just top of the boot on shin. Very
difficult to see the extent of the challenge from the camera
angle though and Duckworth had a better angle.
Second RC - there can be no complaints. He’d get charged and
arrested if he done that in the street!

For me, I'm not seeing red for the first challenge - yellow for
reckless. I wonder if the way the Tranmere player goes over in
the challenge makes it appear in one viewing like he's been
challenged with a scissor action? If so, could explain the red.
Second red, awful challenge, no option!

Correct red card issued by Tom Parsons tonight to the Walsall
goalkeeper - to me, looks an SFP offence rather than a DOGSO
offence so i’d expect a 3 match ban, but we’ll have to wait and
see on that one.

My feelings exactly. Slid in, 2 feet, unsure where and how much
contact.
Referee was very decisive so there was no way for AR2 to offer
anything different.
Will be interested to know Observers first impression, what goes
in report after 2nd viewing and whether the club appeal - is it
"wrong" enough to overturn? IMHO no, to use the awful UEFA
phrase, supportable
