Still no PL game this season for L Smith despite recent good
appointments in the Champ and PL experience in the last few
seasons. Also Barrott has a UEFA Youth League tomorrow with Alex
James and Jacob Graham who he worked with in the competition
already this year.

"sound in wind" - a bit personal!!

For the avoidance of doubt, I was referring to Mr Harrington's
lung capacity rather than digestive tract [emoji6]

Looking forward to seeing the other royalty at Dean Court this
week. May I remind you Mr Webb the promised purple has still not
materialised at Dean Court - I have not forgotten...
Delighted for Farai - good to see him having top quality
experienced ARs with him again. Must make a big difference to a
young upcoming ref to be surrounded by a great team.

I don’t remember Oliver doing a United v Tottenham game
particularly at OT. Maybe someone can correct me.
Great game for bramall and Harrington with decent Derby games.
Pleased for Pawson who’s had more top 6 clashes this season than
he ever had when he was Fifa listed

Hallam getting a game very quickly after his first, high
publicised performance which was widely praised. Sadly Ref
Watch pointed out a blunder in his Championship game at
Southampton. While praising his potential and pointing out that
he is a lovely person, Hallam disallowed a penalty claim and
booked the defender for diving. Dermott Gallagher felt that the
third option was appropriate, do nothing. Hallam will learn from
this as Dermott said.
Interesting in that I wasn't aware that the third option is
available to referees but have thought it for years. It makes
sense. IMHO, you have to be 100% certain to give a penalty,
likewise 100% certain to caution a player. This incident was
maybe 80% a penalty but I am not sure!
Incidentally, with Hallam getting a second game so soon, I was
wondering what has happened to Andrew Kitchen. Then I looked at
the Charlton goal he disallowed at Leicester. Good job Charlton
won is all I will say.

Both Harrington and Robinson refereed the corresponding fixture
- not a good look that
kavanagh with Liverpool for a fifth time. It means half of
Liverpool's games have been refereed by just three officials:
Kavanagjh, Taylor & Hooper. Poor appointing really
