R JONES - Spurs v Man City

Great advantage when Bissouma hauled over Haaland whilst Cherki
was on the attack and then scored.
Deserved card afterwards.

Agreed it was a fantastic advantage. The kind in which you’re
preying they score!
Although, what would you be cautioning for? Or in this case,
what has Jones cautioned for?

He’s been good so far but not sure how Kolo Muani escaped a
yellow card for an incredibly late challenge on Rodri.

Clearly the journey from Anfield to Tottenham hasn't affected
him! Good to read. Jones doesn't always get the credit that
perhaps he should.

Haaland was charging into the box and Bissouma took him out…

Solankes goal is a foul 9 times out of 10. Plays the ball by
going through the back of Guehi's calf.

Rodri is today's cat with nine lives, he should've walked just
there for 2nd YC or if not for that then previously with a high
challnege a few mins before!

Absolutely no idea how the first Spurs goal was not disallowed
for a foul, nor how Rodri has not been sent off.

There was one too many decisive match errors for me today to
call that a good performance from Jones, below par imo.
The PGMOL strategy of appointing a ref in a prickly patch of
form to the marquee game has not worked this week sadly, unlike
the opposite with Pawson last Sunday.

At best you could caution for breaking up a promising attack.
But once you play advantage, that goes…..
