I actually have only just seen the handball decision now, and I
don’t think its as bad a decision as people are making out. It
looks to be to be more towards hand to ball than it is ball to
hand.

Having trawled through those VAR Technical observations, I
really do wonder how many of those giving explanations have
ever played the game at a decent level. How they expect people
to run and jump with arms by their side (a natural position
according to them) I just can't comprehend. To be honest that is
only one of the problems, don't even think about some of the
physical contact which is being penalised these days.
I know, I know ---it's the modern game.

Agree, the slapping movement of the arm was very strange. That
was always going to be given in Europe, and I suspect even in
the EPL there's a high chance it would get given.

The problem is showing the ref what happened in slo mo. At full
speed it is clear that Miley is not deliberately handling the
ball. How would he know that the ball would come at him like
that when it had hit the PSG player on his arm. The last minute
2 years ago saw Newcastle robbed by a daft pen decision and in
the first minute this time the same thing happened. 2 dubious
pens in 2 minutes. And they still could beat Newcastle!!!
