Farai Hallam - Manchester City v Wolves

Not seen the incident but fair play to Farai Hallam, on his PL
debut, has stuck with his onfield decision after being sent to
the monitor by Darren England for a handball incident.

Fair play Farai Hallam. Great call imo to reject the review. If
it was champions league it would be handball but not enough in
the prem when it’s kicked straight at hin close distance.
On second thoughts I’m having doubts.looks like Mosquera puts
his hand out towards ball from a different angle…
       Tricky one

Well done to Hallam for sticking by his original decision, i
hope he is supported for doing so.
Wore purple too for extra brownie points.

Ballsy from Hallam at the best of times let alone on PL debut.
Doesn't seem to have made a friend of Pep judging by his post
       match 'handshake' and comments.
Hope this one is analysed on a future mic'd up, would be
fascinating to hear what two fifas in England and Barrott said
to him and what he said back.

Excellent decision rightly praised across the board. I’d love
Webb to put him straight back in the PL next match week!

Just seen clip online, and seems the classic case of referee
call. The VAR should stay out of it, as it’s not a clear error,
just a subjective judgement - one I’m comfortable with at first
       view.

Darren Cann agreed that it was never a penalty. Looks like a
       fair call, referee's call.

Webb will still somehow find a way to jumble his words and agree
with both the intervention and the final outcome

Not making a friend of Pep is good evidence that he officiated
fairly and in a single minded manner.

Darren England was quite dismissive of a VAR intervention last
season at Fulham for a penalty in relation to handball. I can’t
comment on the handball itself today as that is beyond confusing
these days but England and Sam Barrott were both on VAR duty for
this match. Is it possible that they can both be incorrect on
       this incident?
