Very soft to give a foul for that, player moving backwards goes
down far too easy.
He blew way too early as well with a header towards goal when
var is in use.

Ref has lost complete and utter control.
Decision to disallow the goal was poor, and also poor to blow so
early. VAR decision takes bottle, will give him that.
Although, this commentary team are even worse.

The referee should blow the whistle, abandon the match, and walk
off the pitch. Disgraceful from Senegal, doesn’t matter if the
decision is right or wrong. Cannot accept behaviour like this.
Match should simply be awarded to Morocco.

How can one person possibly try to control 50+ people?!

ASTONISHING scenes. I’ve never seen anything like this in a
major final anywhere.
The referee should blow for full time, abandon the match and
then FIFA deal with Senegal appropriately.
Incidentally, the 2026 fifa badges have made it to Africa not
England it seems.

Once the players stop listening to you, you’ve lost control. Yes
the players behaviour is completely unacceptable, but it was
started by the referees decision to disallow the Senegal goal.
Then he goes to the VAR screen whilst WW3 breaks out behind him.
Then he wanders back out onto the pitch looking like a rabbit in
the headlights.
I feel sorry for him, I really do. But he hasn’t got control.
