My only question would be,
How long would that be behind bars?

Appalling. The way the player planted his feet showed he was
preparing to do it well in advance, as well. One that goes well
beyond football and should certainly involve the police. Hope
the receiving player is ok??

Awful challenge. No place in football. Hopefully he receives a
lengthy football ban.

I think you're being generous calling it a challenge.
The police definitely should get involved as well

Totally agree, and a life ban and an assault charge from the
police should be on its way soon enough. What makes people do
things like this?
Sickening doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Disgraceful.
I seem to recall it was another Anglesey match (Amlwch Town?) a
couple of seasons ago where a manager was found guilty of
assaulting a young linesman, also caught on camera. I believe he
rightly got a lifetime ban from football but only a suspended
prison sentence, which was farcical given the nature of the
attack. Let’s hope the football authorities and police are a bit
stronger in this case.
