       Okay. All but 1 ex-pro that I have seen has said red card……

       I guess it depends who the referee is, who the var is, how
       important the game is, what minute the challenge was made, was
       the recieving player injured? Which competition the game is
       played in, which country the game is played in, Etc none of
       which should have any impact on the decision.
