A good first 10 for Kav, a good caution 5 minutes in for
Badiashile for stopping a promising attack. Currently waiting on
a medical emergency in the crowd. Fingers crossed all involved
are ok

Looks like all is well, medical staff have done well and the
paramedics have taken over

A quiet first half for Kav and Co. 2 cautions both nailed on.
He's blending into the background here here, making it look easy

Surprised he’s in black with the Chelsea goalie also in black..
Should’ve been in yellow IMO 😂

Had VAR been in operation then Charlton’s goal may have been
ruled out for subjective offside with Campbell in line of vision
of the goalkeeper from a header which was saved but the follow
up was scored.
But who cares because we don’t want to wait 5 minutes for a
decision.

That’s one hell of a spot to not give Charlton a penalty when
the player kicked the floor milliseconds before the Chelsea
player challenged him from behind. A brilliant decision..
Kavanagh has been excellent again tonight, on a good run at
present.

Will have no affect on the game but 3 added minutes? There’s
been 3 goals, lots of substitutes and a couple of injuries.
Would’ve said at least 6.
Kavanagh been excellent as always. Excellent decision to not
give Charlton a penalty.
Although as a say that it looks like the Charlton keeper got the
ball on the Chelsea penalty.

Yep, looks like a slight blot on the copybook as the keeper wins
the ball.
Hasn’t affected the tie in anyway but I’m sure VAR would have
reversed it had it been in play.

Bit random that his AR's swapped sides today compared to usual.

Certainly an evening the ref team can be proud of. Excellent
non-penalty for charlton. I said no penalty in real time for
Chelsea and replay would suggest the keeper got there first, but
otherwise an excellent night for Kav and the team.
Edit: Also handled the situation well after some plank threw a
flare on the field 🙄
