       Anthony Backhouse- Hull vs Watford

       Game postponed 18 minutes before kick off!
       Really not good from the match officials and relevant H&S
       officials on the day.
       Sadly shows how little the fans are thought of these days…..

       twitter. The pitch itself is fine

       Yeah, saw that. Be interesting to see what they define as the
       surrounding areas, as its player rather than fan safety they’re
       concerned with

       It looks like the areas outside of the field of play are well
       iced up, that probably happened overnight not at 2pm. If it was
       a concern when the officials arrived they should have known it
       wasnt going to thaw in time as should have called it off then.
       One blow torch isnt going to do the job, it is very cold in the
       Hull area.
