I enjoy my regular 'jousting' (is that the right word?) on this
thread about referees performances at Crewe Alex, and on the odd
occasion I've posted CA comments under General Discussion, it
has tended to lead to few if any responses. That's
understandable, after all TV coverage of PL games means that I
can make or add comments from my armchair, but the same does not
apply further down the ladder. It is also good in my view to be
able to keep an eye in the L1/L2/NL thread on how 'newbies' are
getting on, which would be more difficult if the posts on
performance had to be made elsewhere. I respectfully ask please
that we keep things as they are on EFL1/2 & NL appointments and
discussion on performance. Thanks.

Is this the (former?) AR Callum Jones? I remember he had a game
a Wembley final in the last few years running the line.

Ok let’s leave it as it is for these divisions. But please use
general discussion for premier and championship matches. Happy
new year to all .x

Yeah, I live in inner London and it is already below -1 outside,
cars are already frozen, really can't see much surviving this
unless they have pitch protection.

Not too bad near the coast here in Eastbourne, although it’s
pretty nippy!

He did Shrewsbury v Bristol Rovers on New Years Day. He was
certainly better than both teams but that wouldnt have been very
hard

Interesting start for Kavan Hurn - he decided to postpone at
Altringham 6 minutes before kick off!
