I understand your point, but personally speaking, I (and maybe
other regular contributors in this thread) enjoy reading through
all of the match reports for this level in one place? Premier
League football is extremely accessible and therefore gains lots
of different opinions and comments, whereas this is mostly used
for discussing 1 or 2 key incidents and sharing opinions of
officials that the other posters haven’t seen.
To use a separate thread per game would unnecessarily segregate
the posts in my opinion.

I agree with elbee94 on this. My use of the general discussion
board for these games tends to be limited to something out of
the ordinary, rather than a general evaluation of a particular
referee.
As a moderator, perhaps you could look at creating a sticky
thread for L1, L2 & NL referees on the general discussion
thread, similar to Pyramid Patrol? That might address the points
raised while channelling post-match comment to that thread.
