It is probably because of the amount of referees out of action
they may have had to rethink a few appointments or needed more
time to make it all work out well.

Could retirement be on the cards for Bond? 48 y/o, seems to be
injured, no appointment all season, has had a good few seasons
at the top. No offence to anyone of that age but surely it is
hard to come back from an injury at that age? Of course it’s
possible but I imagine it’s much more difficult the older you
get.

We should also get the Carabao Cup final appointments tomorrow,
with the team getting a a lower-profile game as a trial run
together (traditionally this has been the case). Do we all think
Gillett or has anyone any last wildcards?

I think I am sticking with my gut and sticking with Gillett.
Hooper possibly but he’s injured. An extra wildcard would be
Bramall, but maybe in a few years time he will get it, or
sooner, who knows!
Have all the FIFA guys had this final yet?

Someone on twitter has made up a rumour that Kavanagh has the
Man Utd vs Villa game on Sunday with Donohue on VAR. No clue
where that’s come from, but if it’s true then I’ll be speechless
as to how they know before us!

No info has come to light about Mr Bond so dont think we should
speculate about retirement as of yet.
