Nelson clearly highly rated as he was only promoted to SG2 in
the summer. Think the VAR's do a bit of training during
international tournaments but still surprising that Gillett gets
two PL games in a week straight away.

What is the point of phasing tierney back into prem action when
he’s on efl duty he had chelt then a prem game and now back in
efl again you might as well just keep him in efl for the whole
season alongside var duty
Surprised Robinson hasn’t got a prem game but is on var duty
alongside efl Boxing Day fixture hope he gets another prem
fixture in 2026

Wonder if Taylor & Harrington will bother claiming mileage :)
Taylor - Altringham to Old Trafford - 30 mins
Harrington - Hartlepool to Sunderland - 35 mins

Does Liverpool v Wolves really need Hooper. Would love to have
seen Kirk with another game. No Robinson or Tierney makes no
sense as others have said.
And England with two of the top 3. I find him a Lee Mason kind
of ref, that is always down towards the lower echelons of the
list, hopefully goes well for him

Kavanagh is a good omen for us… 8 points from four games he’s
been in charge of, in just shy of 12 months... and undefeated!

Very underwhelmed by the appointments to our big fixtures over
the xmas period,
Certainly didnt expect Attwell or England.
Congrats to Nelson fir hus first premier league appointment.
Bankes and Barrott heading for the naughty step.
Good appointments for Harrington who is having a good season.
Merry Xmas to all match officials and contributors here.

A real standout for me is a first high profile game for Paul
Howard as VAR on Chelsea v Aston Villa. I must say I think
that’s very well deserved as he’s certainly been upstaging some
of his colleagues with regards to VAR.
Howard and Sian Massey-Ellis seem to make an excellent team in
Stockley Park.
