have been postponed on Wednesday night as Stratford Town are
being investigated by the FA over allegedly fielding an
ineligible player.

For anyone struggling with the FArcical play off situation at
step 4 promotion, tonight's game is as follows:
If Horsham win they go up.
If Ashford win they can ONLY go up if BOTH Brighouse and
Cinderford win their play-off finals on Saturday and Monday
respectively.
Bearing in mind neither Brighouse nor Cinderford can go up under
any circumstances that particular "double" is probably long
odds.

It's absolute madness that teams are being forced to enter play
off matches with no hopes of being promoted.
Surely the play offs could have been arranged across the whole
Leagues involved so that at least they are meaningful. I'm sure
teams wouldn't mins an extra bit of travel if there was
something worthwhile waiting.
Or is that too much commonsense?

There are many ways this could have been overcome. Sadly the FA
didn't take the trouble to think them through.
