Oliver Langford - Blackburn Rovers v Ipswich

Well, I had a major sense of Deja vu when Matusiwa clipped the
Blackburn forward. I thought he was gone for DOGSO. I’m amazed
really that Langford went yellow. Davis was fairly close in
proximity but I’m not certain he would’ve made the ground. But
if Langford had any doubt then he’s well within his right to go
yellow.
He’s been pretty average tbh in a very average game.

Valerien Ismael has come out post match firing on all cylinders
about the standard of refereeing in the championship.
"Normally we should be talking about three points to enjoy, and
I think the connection with the fans was really good tonight.
But tonight, I can't not talk about the referee, because now
enough is enough."
During the interview, he even pulled up a piece of paper which
seemingly had all the ‘controversial’ decisions given against
Blackburn this season.
I thought Oliver Langford did not put in a good performance but
his performance probably matched the level of performance by the
22 players on the pitch. It was a poor game to watch all night
and Blackburn would still have come out with 3 points if they
had defended well for 20 more seconds.

It seems that way. That’s why I put the word controversial in
quotation marks.
Half of those listed are probably correct decisions anyway

At least he is talking about the match and the referee involved
rather than VAR
You can't beat an old fashioned moan about the officials to
deflect criticism away from the failures of his team.
Onwards to Saturday at home with Ruebyn Ricardo in charge
against The Owls. It is two months since he last refereed them
and it seems that Ismael was happy with him that day. Fingers
crossed!

He seems to have forgotten Blackburn are also a "former Premier
League club."
in fact "former Premier League Champions."

including Ipswich?

Ricardo is the best referee I have seen in the Championship for
a long time and certainly this season
