A tad surprised that Hooper goes straight into a PL middle on
his return from injury , still no 007 and Nick Hoptons first
time as senior VAR if I’m not mistaken

Pretty straightforward set of appointments. Good game for Bankes
at Villa Park. Taylor on the 5:30 game at Leeds. Hooper straight
back into action and a nice Monday evening outing for Salisbury.

Great to see Hooper back out there. Tierney at Ipswich, will be
nice to see him in-person.

senior!

The one that is named first in the appointments and waves the
checkered flag.
FIFA assistants are the most senior.

Surprised that Jones is fourth official on Hoopers first game
back, especially as he is refereeing 24 hrs earlier at Spurs. I
would have thought a sensible fourth official appointment would
be an official who hadnt refereed the day previous on this
occasion.

If that was Salisbury or some of the lesser officials they'd be
in the championship for a month before being reappointed to a
game

Very new to this forum, but have to say that this is a very
normal set of appointments! Also looking back at appointments
over the last few weeks, it’s always the same officials who get
2 each weekend which seems silly when others don’t get used,
this doesn’t make sense to me surely more exposure for all
officials would be beneficia?
